Katy Woodard

Katy as over 14 years of post-acute healthcare experience.  She has served as a  Speech-Language Pathologist for over 7 years in more than 3 post-acute organizations.  Additionally, Katy has held leadership roles in managing all aspects of therapy including speech, physical and occupational therapy. 

 

Katy most recently has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator for over 7 years directly responsible for overall operations overseeing 100+ beds.  A few of her notable accomplishments include developing a team to improve a 2-star rating to a 5-star rating in healthcare quality and staffing metrics as well as facilitating an increase in referral and conversions rate with a regional health system in Oklahoma City. 

 

Katy holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Oklahoma and is a Sigma Kappa Sorority Member.  She is a certified Long-term Care Administrator and additionally holds certifications as a Dementia Practitioner and in VitalStim. 

 

Katy completed the SAGE LGBT Cultural Competency and she is passionate about volunteering in activities related to gerontology, Alzheimer’s disease and also volunteers at her church.
