Catherine Kapella, MSN, RN, CCRN

Catherine has over 10 years of nursing experience in nursing management, nursing education, women’s services, and neonatal critical care across several acute sites of care and academia in Oklahoma.  She has been successfully leading and inspiring nursing teams to provide high-quality, patient centered care while adhering to nursing practice standards and financial accountability. Catherine has overseen numerous quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety protocols and improving patient satisfaction scores. Her data-driven approach has led to significant advancements in clinical outcomes.

Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus of Nursing Administration from Oklahoma City University and will graduate with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Nurse Leadership from Saint Louis University in 2024.  She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nursing (AACN) and was awarded both the Heart of Nursing and Academic Excellence Awards from Oklahoma City University.
